Improving the Efficiency of GIS Systems in Various Business Areas

Abstract

It is clear that the functions and structures in a Geographic Information System (GIS) software must be compatible with a business structure. This has led to the emergence of a new subsidiary called Geographic Information Services alongside the main structure of geographic information systems. Using this structure, even without special experience and knowledge in the field of GIS, each individual has the chance to use the capabilities of GIS software analysis. In this research, to access a comprehensive and optimal geographical information structure, the use of distributed computational model has been investigated and proposed. In some ways, due to the recognition of mobile devices, their progress and smartening, a research has been presented regarding the commercial specialization of these services for use in mobile devices.
